Calvaro made a international career at the highest level.
Champion of Netherland in 1997, then vice champion of Europe in 98 withJos Lansink, he finished 9th of World Games and 2nd of the Grand Prix of Monterrey in Mexic.
In 1999, under Michael Whitaker, he is the European champion. The following year, he won the UK Grand Prix's and participe to the Olympic Games in Sydney under John Whitaker, clear round in Nation Cup.
In term of model, he is tall and robust : he has great bone, a lot of withers and powerful hocks. He has three beautiful paces and a presence that the years haven't damaged (Guide de l'éperon 07).
